For over 250 years, not only the medicinal water but also lush green meadows and luxuriant flowerbeds have been part of the image of the picturesque Castle Park of the state spa in Bad Brückenau. The park is not watered with the valuable medicinal water, but with its own computerised watering system using the latest technology.
After a construction period of ten weeks, a year-round trial period was started, and expectations were confirmed. 120 solenoid valves control the water supply, 3,000 metres of driplines serve to water the plants, and 600 sprinklers are used to water the lawns.
The system guarantees exceedingly economical operation, adapted to the actual water requirements of the plants and lawns. In this way, optimum use is made of nature’s resources.
