Spazierrouten

Coming from the Staatsbad, the trail leads past the Catholic church towards the town of Bad Brückenau. With the exception of a few sections, you will walk along well-maintained footpaths through the Sinn Valley with its wide meadows. At Washingtonplatz, you cross the valley and reach Ottoplatz, named after a son of King Ludwig I. The route continues along the shady foot of the Sinnberg, offering magnificent views of the river back to the Staatsbad.

Length  3.5 km, duration: 40 minutes pure walking time.

From the Wandelhalle, the route takes you past old rose varieties to the bridge on the main road. From here, the path continues past the Kursaal to the Fürstenhof. A spectacular view of the Staatsbad ensemble awaits you here. English roses exude their fragrance along the Wandelgang, and magnificent climbing roses stand espaliered in the last section of the Wandelgang.

Length 1.2 km, duration: 30 minutes walking time.

This path takes you back to the inner castle park via the Sinntalhof. From the Fürstenhof, you walk past the Kursaal to the Sinnbrücke bridge and reach the Wandelhalle after a short time. Along the way, you can admire rows of different tree species: swamp oak, Norway maple, bird cherry, apple tree, chestnut, columnar oak and tree hazel. There are also many other individual trees and shrubs.

Length 2.5 km, duration: 30 minutes walking time.

The trail leads past the Protestant church towards Eckarts. After about 1.2 km, you will reach the turnoff to the viewing platform, where you can enjoy views of Bibersee lake and the beaver lodge. Information boards describe the life of this rodent. Cross the Wernarzer Bridge, pass the ‘Alte Trafoturm’ (old transformer tower), which now serves as a home for birds and bats, and return along the renaturalised Sinn river.

Length 4 km, duration: 1 hour walking time.
